Big balance patch: you can jump while sliding; dash jump gets a brief air control boost. Shrine/Guardian tweaks, bounty/HP shifts, new neutral camps and urn UI. Huge pass across heroes and items (lots of buffs/nerfs for Abrams, Ivy, Kelvin, Yamato, Victor, Wraith, Calico, Paige, Mirage, etc.) plus a new Golden Goose Egg item. Lots of tweaks and QoL changes.
Apollo is live in Old Gods, New Blood. The fencer uses Flawless Advance, deflects into a Riposte, can Disengaging Sigil to slip away, and finishes with Itani Lo Sahn while masked. That wraps Apollo’s rollout. Voting stats: 60,776,963 total votes; exactly 600 people voted for the eventual winner each round; Venator beat Celeste by 11%; the top voter cast 813 Celeste votes.
New character Celeste is live. Her kit: Light Eater coats foes in front and buffs damage against them; Dazzling Trick creates a shield that explodes and silences enemies who break it; Radiant Daggers rain from above; Shining Wonder buffs allies and scares foes. She's in-game now; Apollo update with Old Gods, New Blood drops Feb 12 at 2pm.
Yo, Venator has joined the ritual. His kit: Consecrating Grenade to soften enemies and stall heals, Hex-Lined Snap Traps to pin folks in place, Gutshot shotgun for knockbacks, and Ira Domini to wipe evil. Nine commandments will have to do. Only two heroes left—see you Mon Feb 9 at 2pm PST for the next release.
