4.3.4 Cetus patch: disruptors nerfed (shield/regen penalties by tier; psionic), fleet MIA cap set to 10 years with exceptions, and a bunch of balance tweaks. Resources boosted (bio-reactor gas; MoP/Production), artifact storage buffs for Faculty/Archaeostudies, and Astral Siphon tweaks. Voidworms nerfed, habitat capitals gain an extra district, plus many fixes (fleet sizes, purges pause during ground battles). Pegasus QoL adds Grand Archive storage to 60, drag/drop between storage/exhibition, automated workforce slider; experimental job-assignment beta; specimen move cooldown 2 years.

4.3.4 Open Beta (part two) is now on stellaris_test [checksum 44ba]

4.3.4 Cetus patch adds a 10-year fleet MIA cap (with exceptions), nerfs disruptors and Psionic regen, buffs Exotic Gas production and some production bonuses, boosts Archaeostudies outputs (artifact yields and storage) and lowers upkeep to 8 energy. Adjusts Astral Siphon, reduces Gestalt upkeep, and weakens Voidworm fleets. Lots of bug fixes (fleet sizing, purges during ground battles, tooltips, OOSs) plus AI/stability tweaks; possible 4.3.5 later.

Open Beta 4.3.4 Cetus patch: fleets can’t stay MIA longer than 10 years (with exceptions). Disruptors drain shield/regen (Psionic regen too, stacking with other fire-rate buffs). Production/artifact boosts: Advanced Bio-Reactor gas, Ministry/Production Center, artifact storage up. Upkeep down. Astral Siphon tweaks. Bugfixes and AI/purge changes. 4.4 Pegasus teased; aiming around the 16th.

Stellaris Dev Diary #414b - Portrait Substitution System

4.3.3 (Cetus) drops with Naval Capacity and Command Limit sliders, plus lots of balance tweaks and fixes across buildings, ships, AI, automation, and starbases. The big reveal is Portrait Substitutions: Arachnophobia Mode becomes a full, scriptable system that swaps spider-like portraits for non-spiders via substitutions loaded from game/gfx/portraits/substitutions. MP shows originals unless opted in; mods can add new files. 4.3.4 due in ~2–3 weeks.
